Cozy Country Home with Room for Family and Friends in Maiden!

You really can't beat the price, and it was in a quiet part of a quiet neighborhood. However, the home and some of the fixtures and things around the house seemed to be in need of some repairs. For our family we were able to make things work. We had two adults and five children (two were teenage) and we were able to more or less enjoy having a place to call home for the weekend.

Property is amazing. Very close to the location where I am working very convenient. Will be staying here again.

When we arrived, the grass was knee high. It was mowed sometime the day after our arrival. There is black mold growing in the bathroom beside the shower. There's a chair that is completely bent and broken and there's a bad spot in the flooring. I made the owner aware of the issues the day after our stay (March 30) and still have had zero response.

Clean, cozy and comfortable Positive: The beds were comfortable and the bath towels were very soft! It was great to have a fully equipped kitchen and separate bedrooms for me and my daughter vs a single cramped hotel room. Everything was very clean as well! Negative: There is only one bathroom. The first night we arrived late and both wanted to get ready for bed at the same time. I ended up brushing my teeth in the kitchen just so I didn't have to wait.

The property was beautiful Only issue was owner didn't give correct code to access the property and had to try to contact him several times for almost an hour to get correct code.
